This is the outlook for the Autumn from the JMA. I must stress we much take this with a large pinch of salt, but saying that I like the JMA better than any other long range models.
September will see overall a slack air pressure with the possibility of a north-easterly airflow. For England and Wales it looks like we will see slightly above average rainfall. Scotland looks like it there will be around average rainfall. It looks like the temperature will be around average.
It looks like low pressure will dominate most of the month with the centre of the low pressure off the South-west of England. This setup would bring above average rain for England and Wales. Scotland again looks like it will have around average rainfall.
Little change with low pressure dominating the month again. So above average rainfall for all of the UK with temperature around average of November.
