This GEFS graph is showing temperatures will be falling well below the 30 year average for the end of the month and the first few days of December. The GEFS graph shows the temperature at 850 hpa that’s around 1,500 metres. The bottom of the graph is precipitation and you can see it looks dry from around the 30th November with a very low risk of a shower. When the temperature reaches -5 centigrade at 1,500 metres any precipitation could be wintry. The snow Row is 3 on the 2nd of December and I would say its unlikely we will see any snow. So cold temperatures are on the way for the start of our meteorological winter.
