It looks like the temperature are set to fall again towards the end of this week and through next weekend.
Looking at this GEFS Graph we can see a sharp fall in temperatures. Temperatures are set to start falling away from Wednesday onwards. By Thursday daytime top temperatures will struggle to reach 7 c and a couple of degrees colder during the weekend. There will be some night time frosts too.
Some parts of the UK will see some snow showers so I will be watching this carefully to see if any will come our way.
On this GEFS I have added red oval showing the days of the colder temperatures. The temperatures are based at 5,000 and the magical line for one of the risk factors for snow is -5 c. You can see we are close to this line. The bottom of the graph is only showing a few showers around, because the spikes are small.
