Confidence is growing for some real heat next week. High pressure will build to the East of the UK with a ridge over the UK bringing some very warm air moving up from a southerly direction. If the temperature at 850 hpa 1,500 metres reaches the high teens we could expect to see temperature climbing into the high 20’s possible 30 degrees around Tuesday, Wednesday next week.
The image below is from the GEFS 850 hpa and precipitation. You can see the temperature rising quickly over the next few day’s, there could be a few showers, but we will see when we get little closer.
