The JMA was issued today from the Japanese Met Agency. Followers will know I visit the JMA most weeks to see how the Japanese see our outlook for the next four weeks. The image I have cropped, rotated and added a line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are below average pressures and oranges colours are above average pressure.

Week 1, 6th to 12th July.

Low pressure stretches across the North Atlantic into central northern Europe. This will be a an unsettled period with heavy rain and showers and windy conditions at times.

Week 2, 12th to 18th July.

Low pressure is sitting over the UK, this will bring showery conditions with temperatures slightly below average for this time of the year.

Week 3-4 18th to 31st July.

This is a two week period, it looks like average pressure will start to move in but low pressure is near by over Scotland.  It looks like some improvement will start to take place during the last week of July.
