This is an outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA model. It’s an outlook and not a forecast but I think its a good indication on our outlook. I have added the 3 images together, rotated them, and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours is low pressure area’s and Oranges high pressure areas.
Overall it shows low pressure trough over the UK stretching West into the Atlantic for the next four weeks. This setup will bring our weather from the South westerly direction. So it looks like it will remain unsettled .during the next four weeks. We can expect above average temperature from now up to 8th February and then the temperatures will fall a little to around average for early February, it will be windy at times. It’s looking quite wet with above average rainfall maybe a turning a little more showery from the end of the second week of February.
