This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA model this is issued from the Japanese Met Agency. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s. This is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook.
Week 1, 28th December to 4th January 2018.
Low pressure looks like it will be firmly in control so we will see above average rainfall and temperatures slightly above average. It will be stormy at times with some strong winds.
Week 2, 5th January to 11th.
This period still see’s low pressure in control bringing unsettled conditions with above average rainfall and temperatures around average, we may see a brief colder spell. Rainfall will be above average turning wintry at times.
Week 3-4 12th January to 25th.
This is a two week period and it looks like high pressure will start to be in control with a Scandinavia high pressure area bringing temperatures around average or slightly below average. Rainfall looks slightly above average with a risk of some wintry showers.
