Low pressure systems will bring an unsettled weekend with some heavy rain and strong winds especially during Sunday. The first low pressure system will arrive to the North West coast of Scotland late afternoon early evening. Any remaining rain from overnight should soon clear leaving largely dry day. Strengthening winds during the afternoon with gusts up to 36mph that’s force 7. Heavy rain and showers will move into the area during the evening.

On Sunday a quickly developing low pressure system will move close to the Western parts of the coast of the UK bringing a very wet day with heavy rain and showers. Wind speeds will increase during the day and when the low pressure starts to move across Southern Scotland, Northern England we will see the wind speed increasing and we could see gusts reaching 55 mph that’s force 9, severe gale.
