It looks like this unsettled weather is set to continue into the first two weeks of July. This 10 day precipitation image shows plenty of rainfall is set to continue to fall upon the UK.
Top image from 29th June to 7th July, is showing around 25mm of total rainfall.
Middle image, 7th July to the 15th again looks like around 25mm of total rainfall. There is some good news in that the temperatures looks like rising a little during tis period. There could be an improvement towards the end of this period if you read the next two paragraphs.
The JMA is published on Thursday, last week I indicated the JMA was showing an improvement from around the middle of July. It will be interesting to see if they believe that improvement is still on its way.
I have just had a quick look at the CFS and it’s showing higher pressure could start to build around the 12th July and we could start to see our weather settling down.
