This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.

Week 1, 30th January to 5th February.

Low pressure is located to the North of the UK with high pressure to the South. This looks like it will bring overall a very mild temperatures around 3 or 4 degrees above average. It looks like we will see slightly above average rainfall.

Week 2, 6th February to 12th.

High pressure is over the UK this setup would bring mainly settled, dry conditions with the temperature around 1 or 2 degrees above average. There could be some night time frosts.

Week 3, 13th February to 19th.

High pressure remains in control bringing settled, dry conditions. Temperatures look to be around average so cooler than the previous periods, with some night time frosts.
