This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.

Week 1, 4th October to 10th.

Low pressure stretches across the Atlantic and over the UK and over central parts of Europe. This will bring quite a wet period with above average rainfall, temperatures will be slightly above average.

Week 2, 11th October to 17th.

Low pressure will be over the UK and stretches over Scandinavia, this would bring above average rainfall with temperatures around average for mid October.

Week 3-4, 18th October to 31st.

Very little change from the previous week, low pressure is still over the UK bringing above average rainfall and temperatures around average for the end of October.
