This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.

Week 1 8th November to 14th.

A large low pressure system stretching across the Atlantic will be in control of our weather. This will bring rainfall well above average and temperatures a couple of degrees above average for November. There will be some stormy conditions too.

Week 2 15th November to 21st.

High pressure will be in control bringing mainly fairly settled conditions and temperatures around what you would expect for mid November.

Week 3-4  22nd November to 5th December.

Small area of high pressure centred just off the South East of the UK. This is a two week period and it is still looking fairly settled temperature and rainfall again will be around average for the end of November, early December. Scotland is the exception with above average rainfall.
