This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.

Week 1 13th September to 19th.

Low pressure is over the UK with high pressure over Europe. Overall temperature will be 1 to 3 degrees above average, this may be early next week before temperatures improve. Rainfall looks to be above average.

Week 2  20th September to 26th.

High pressure from the midland Southward to southern Europe with low pressure from the midlands northwards. Looks like slightly above average rainfall and temperature around average.

Week 3-4  27th September to 10th October.

Low pressure over the UK with a northerly airflow will bring temperatures slightly cooler than you would expect for the end of September, early October, rainfall around average, rainfall will be around average.
