This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.

Week 1, 28th November to 4th December.

High pressure is in control to bring a cold period with the temperatures around 2-3 degrees below average. It should remain overall dry.

Week 2, 5th December to 11th.

Low pressure is in control bringing temperatures around average. Northern parts of the UK will see below average temperatures. Rainfall will be slightly above average. I could see some of the colder air from the North slipping down at times maybe turning some of the precipitation wintry at times. Northern parts of the UK will see some wintry weather.

Week 3-4, 12th to 25th December.

Low pressure is in control bringing temperatures around average for mid December with slightly above average rainfall.
