This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.
Week 1 25th April to 1st May.
Low pressure stretches across the Atlantic and over the UK. This will bring fairly wet conditions with rainfall above average and the temperature just below average for the end of April.
Week 2 2nd May to 8th.
High pressure is in control of the UK weather. This looks like it will be mainly dry with just the odd shower. It will feel very warm with the temperatures around 2 or 3 degrees above average for early May. Scotland is looking fairly wet with above average rainfall.
Week 3-4 9th May to 22nd.
This period will see high pressure in control with the high pressure stretching South eastwards over Italy and into the Mediterranean. So it looks like there will be little change in rainfall, overall it will be fairly dry, but with a South westerly airflow you do get some showers. I would think western coasts will have more showers than inland.
