This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.

Week 1 8th March to 14th.

A deep low pressure system is over the UK and stretches westwards across the Atlantic to the East coast of the USA. This will bring an unsettled period with above average rainfall, windy at times and temperature slightly below what you would expect for early March.

Week 2 15th March to 21st.

Low pressure remains in control with a high pressure area to the South. This will bring slightly above average rainfall and temperatures around average for mid March.

Week 3-4 22nd March to 4th April.

This is a two week period but there is not a great deal of change from the previous week. Again slightly above average rainfall and temperature slightly below what you would expect for the end of March early April.
