This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.

Week 1 9th August to 15th.

Low pressure will be in control of our weather bringing above average rainfall and temperatures slightly below average.

Week 2 16th August to 22nd.

Slack air pressure with high pressure off the South East of England stretching over central Europe. Overall it will be fairly dry with temperature around average for mid August.

Week 3-4 23rd August to 5 September.

This is a 2 week period and it looks like high pressure will be back in control of our weather. Looks mainly dry with temperatures around average for the end Of August early September.
