This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.
Week 1 31st May to 6th June.
Low pressure will be over the UK bringing a South Westerly airflow. This will bring slightly above average rainfall and temperatures around average except for Scotland where is will be slightly cooler than average.
Week 2 7th June to 13th.
High pressure over Europe just over the eastern side of the UK. Temperatures are on the increase with temperature around 1 to 2 degrees above average. The rainfall looks slightly above average and with a South easterly airflow we could see some thunderstorms.
Week 3-4 14th June to 27th.
This is a two week period so there could be a gradual change taking place. A small area of high pressure to the North of Scotland. This would bring slightly above average rainfall and temperatures would be around average.
