This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.
Week 1 23rd January to 29th.
Low pressure will bring a very unsettled period of weather with above average rainfall. Overall the temperature will be slightly above average with just the odd brief cooler spell. Northern parts of the UK could see some wintry showers at times.
Week 2 30th January to 5th February.
High pressure ridge is over the UK, will bring very mild temperature around 3-4 degrees above average of early February. It looks like we will see slightly above average rainfall.
Week 3-4 6th February to 19th.
This is a two week period and again we will find that high pressure is over most of the UK to bring just slightly above average rainfall and the temperature around 1 to 2 degrees above average. Maybe a chance of some night time frosts.
