This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.

10th May to 16th.

Low pressure stretches across the Atlantic over the UK and onto southern parts of mainland Europe. This will bring temperature approximately 1 to 2 centigrade below average. There will be some periods of rain but overall the rainfall will turn out to be around average.

17th May to 23rd.

High pressure will be over the UK with the centre of the high pressure will be over Scandinavia. This will bring a fairly settled spell of weather with temperature around average for mid May.

24th May to 6th June.

High pressure looks like it will be over the eastern parts of the UK. Again bringing fairly settled spell of weather. Temperatures and rainfall will be around average for the end of May, early June.
