This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.

Week 1, 5th July to 11th.

High pressure is over the UK and parts of the North Atlantic and over Scandinavia. This period will see exceptionally dry conditions with temperatures around 3 or 4 degrees above average for early July.

Week 2, 12th July to 18th.

The air pressure looks like it will start to decline with the higher pressure being pushed more northward. It looks like we will start to see some wetter conditions with slightly above average rainfall. The temperature looks like it will remain very warm slightly above average for mid July.

Week 3-4 19th July to 1st August.

This is a two week period and it looks like we will see around average air pressure. This looks like bringing temperatures around average with rainfall slightly above average.
