This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA model issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is not meant to be a forecast but it’s useful to see our general outlook.

I have rotated the images and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours is low pressure area and oranges is high pressure areas.

Week 1 7th June to 13th.

A ridge and high pressure builds over the UK. This will bring overall dry, warm conditions with temperatures around 2 or 3 degrees above average.

Week 2 14th June to 20th June.

A small ridge of high pressure from southern England to northern England. This will bring, warm conditions to England and Wales with rainfall around average.  Slightly above average rainfall to Scotland. We will see temperatures around 1-2 degrees above average.

Week 3-4 21st June to 4th July.

This is a two week period with no signs of low or high pressure over the UK. This will bring around average rainfall and temperatures. The South-west looks a little warmer than the rest of the UK.
