This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA, issued from the Japanese Met Agency. This is not a forecast but an outlook for the next four weeks. I have rotated the 3 images  together and added a red line so you can see the UK and dated them. Blue colours are low pressure area’s oranges high pressure area’s.

Week 1 26th July to 1st August.

Low pressure stretches across the Atlantic, over the UK and over to Scandinavia. This period looks like it will remain unsettled with above average rainfall and temperature a couple of degrees cool than you would expect for the end of July.

Week 2. 2nd August to 8th.

Low pressure remains over the UK and Scandinavia. Showery with rainfall around average, with temperatures still 1 or 2 degrees below what you would expect for early August.

Week 3 9th August to 22nd.

This is a two week period so there may be some changes during the 4th week. Low pressure trough remains over the UK. Temperatures will be around average maybe just below average. This will be a very showery period with above average rainfall.
