This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.

Week 1 12th – 18th April.

High pressure ridge builds over the UK, this will bring temperatures 3 to 4 degrees above average for this time of the month and rainfall will start to turn out to be mainly dry with rainfall a little below average.

Week 2 19th- 25th April.

Small area of high pressure looks like it will be over the UK bringing temperatures around 1 or 2 degrees above average, mainly dry with just a few showers.

Week 3-4 26th April to 9th May.

During this period we will start to see low pressure coming back in control. This will bring more in the way of rain with slightly above average rainfall and it will feel cooler with temperatures slightly below average for the end of April early May.
