This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued by the Japanese Met Agency. This is just one model the JMA but followers will know that I normally publish it every Thursday or Friday. I have added the three images together and I have rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure areas and orange’s colours are high pressure areas.
Week 1. 14th June to 20th.
High pressure stretches across the mid Atlantic and over central and southern parts of the UK and onwards into Europe. The centre of the high pressure is over the Azores. This will bring rainfall around average with a lot of drier conditions from next week onwards with just one or two showers. Mainly dry around southern parts of the UK. Scotland will see slightly above average rainfall. Temperature will be 1 or 2 degrees above average for all of the UK from next week onwards.
Week 2. 21st June to 27th.
High pressure remains in place bringing mainly drier conditions with just a few showers. Temperatures across the UK will be 1 or 2 degrees above average for the end of June.
Week 3-4. 28th June to 11th July.
Again we will see little in the way of any change with high pressure being in control, again mainly dry with temperatures 1 or 2 degrees above average for the first part of July.
