This is the outlook from the JMA for October, November and December. We have to take this outlook with a large pinch of salt but it is still worth looking at.

October.

Low pressure is over the UK and over the Atlantic with high pressure over Scandinavia. This setup would bring above average rainfall with temperatures around average.

November.

Low pressure over the UK and most of Europe except for Spain. A South-westerly airflow would bring way above average rainfall and the temperatures around average maybe just slightly higher. There would be the possibility of some stormy conditions.

December.

Little change with the pressures setup. Still above average rainfall with temperatures maybe just slightly above average.

So the JMA certainly does not see any sign of an Indian summer or any start to any wintery weather.
