Outlook from the JMA for the next four weeks.

Outlook from the JMA for the next four weeks.

This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued from the Japanese Met Agency. This is not meant to be a forecast but an outlook from this one model the JMA. I have added the 3 images together, rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressures oranges high pressures.

Week 1 30th August to 5th September.

High pressure is over the UK from the Midlands up to Scotland and stretches eastwards over Scandinavia. Low pressure is to the South East of the UK. This shows it will be mainly dry with the odd wetter spell. Temperatures will be around average.

Week 2 6th September to 12th.

A low pressure trough will be over the UK bringing a wet period with above average rainfall, temperatures around average.

Week 3-4 13th to 26th.

This is a two week period, and it looks like high pressure will be mainly in control. Overall this will be a mainly dry period with temperatures around average.
