This is the outlook using the JMA issued from the Japanese Met Agency from 23th November to 21st December. Please note this is an outlook not a forecast. I have added the 3 images together, rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressures.
Week 1 23rd November to 30th.
High pressure over the UK is in control with our weather. This will bring mainly dry but chilly temperatures for this period with an easterly wind direction.
Week 2 1st December to 7th.
A change takes place with low pressure setting in. This period will see the temperatures rising becoming mild for early December with some unsettled weather with rain and showers.
Week 3-4 8th December to 21st.
High pressure blocking in the Atlantic with low pressure over Europe. This period will start to see temperatures falling becoming very chilly possible wintry showers.
