Over the next few day we have a lot of rain and windy conditions to come. But it’s looking like there could be a significant storm arriving into the UK during Sunday.
We are still 80 hours away at the time of writing before the storm starts to arrive. The track of this storm is still uncertain and it will be Friday, Saturday before we will know for sure. The latest track brings the centre of the storm moving across South Wales moving Eastwards. Guest of 70 mph plus would be expected around South Wales with gusts around 50 mph around the midlands. A shift in its track could increase or decrees the winds speeds I have just said for our area. So I will be watching this careful. It would also have a lot of very heavy rain associated with it. It does have the potential to cause structural damage and disruption to travel.
I will decide if I issue a weather warning over the next 48 hours when I have more confidence in it’s path.
