This is the outlook for the next four weeks from November 9th to 6th December. This is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. The models are issued from the Japanese Met Agency. I have added the three images together, rotated them and added a red line to show the position of the UK. Blue colours are low pressure trough area, and oranges high pressure ridges.
Week 1 9th to 15th November.
High pressure will start to build over the UK but nearby to the North of Scotland is a low pressure system. I see an unsettled start to this period with some showery and very wet weather brought in to the UK on a westerly wind. But come the end of the weekend the high pressure will build to bring a drier period.
Week 2 16th to 22nd.
A low pressure trough will be over the UK. This will be a wet period with above average rainfall and some windy conditions. Temperatures will be around average for mid November.
Week 3-4 23rd November to 6th December.
This is a two week period and a change looks like it will take place. The change could be slow and it could be right at the end of November early December before we see the change. High pressure looks like it will become in charge, bringing a fine settled period. Temperature could be a little above average during the daytime with night frosts.
