This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.
Week 1, 1st August to 7th.
Low pressure stretches across the North Atlantic, the UK and over Europe and Scandinavia. We will see above average rainfall with temperatures around 2 degrees above average.
Week 2, 8th August to 14th.
Little change with above average rainfall and temperatures will be a couple of degrees cooler than the previous week.
Week 3-4 15th August to 28th.
Low pressure will be over the UK so we will still see above average rainfall with the temperatures around what we would expect for mid to late August.
