This is the latest outlook for the next four weeks from the Japanese Met Agency the JMA. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook. I have added the 3 images together and rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure area’s.

Week 1. 5th September to 11th.

High pressure is set to be over the UK with low pressure close by over Europe. This setup will bring a cool north-westerly airflow. It will be fairly dry with maybe just below average rainfall for early September.

Week 2. 12th September to 18th.

High pressure looks like it will be in control of our weather to bring mainly dry conditions with one or two showers bringing just below average rainfall for mid September. Temperatures will be around average for mid September.

Week 3-4. 19th September to 2nd October.

High pressure is near by in the Atlantic off to the South-west. Fairly slack air pressure will be over the UK. Rainfall will be around average so we will see a few showers showers. Temperatures again will be near to normal for the end of September early October.
