This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA issued from the Japanese Met Agency. It is not a forecast but an outlook. I have added the three images together, rotated them and added a red line so you can see the UK. Orange is high pressure areas and Blue colours low pressure area.

Weeks 1 6th to 12th July.

Low pressure trough is situated from around the centre of the UK Northwards.  This brings rainfall around average with temperatures a little cooler than you would expect for early July.

Week 2, 13th to 19th.

Little change in the location of the low pressure systems. Rainfall will be slightly above average and temperatures a littler cooler than you would expect for July.

Week 3-4 20th to 2nd August.

High pressure is looking like it will be over the UK stretching into Europe. This period looks like it will be dry and temperatures 1 or 2 degrees above average for the end of July
