This GEFS graph 850 hpa shows the temperature at 5,000 feet and the bottom of the graph shows rainfall indicated by spikesl. I have added some blue arrows to this image showing you the dates of interest.
The weather is set to turn briefly colder with an possible hint of some wintry weather next week.
This GEFS graph is showing a very brief spell of colder temperatures overnight Wednesday into Thursday before the temperatures rise again Friday and into the weekend. The bottom of the graph shows there will be some rain around Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures then look like falling colder during Tuesday 21st, Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd. The bottom of the graph is showing some rainfall during this period. But by looking at the minus -5 c line you can see the temperature will fall close or below this line, this gives me indication that the rain could turn wintry especially over higher ground.
So I am watching next week carefully to see if this comes off, I will update you a little closer.
