I have mentioned in previous post that we could have a storm of our own Monday, Tuesday next week. Storm Helene looks like it will be moving towards the UK. It is still too far away to say what exact path the storm will take and where the centre of the storm will be. The centre looks like it will move over Ireland but it could shift slightly East towards Wales and the West coast.
So at this time it looks like the average wind speed for our area will be around 22 mph gusting up to 45 mph that’s force 8 Gales.
So there will be several changes over the coming days and when it meets the jet-stream then I may have a better idea on its outcome and I will see if I issue a warning sometime on Sunday.
