This is my 5th outlook for the Christmas period, we are still on an outlook not a forecast there is still a lot of uncertainty with the models.
Christmas Eve.
A cloudy day with rain arriving during later stage of the afternoon, 7 centigrade. The rain continues into the evening. Temperature overnight remains around 7 centigrade.
Christmas Day.
An unsettled day with spell of heavy rain, 8 centigrade. Rain and showers continue well into the evening. Temperature overnight falling to a cold 3 centigrade.
Boxing day.
Chance of a shower that could be a little wintry with rain, sleet or snow, feeling cold 3 centigrade. Temperature overnight falling close to freezing point.
Again you can see there is a change from yesterday evening outlook. A switch to rain on Christmas day and a cold feel to Boxing day. I still think it will be Wednesday before I have confidence in the models to call it a forecast.
