Advisory warning
Storm Barra arrives tomorrow, so I issue a warning from Tuesday 7th December 10:00 am to Wednesday 8th 10:00 am we can expect gusts to reach 40-50 mph, that’s force 8-9 gale to strong gale. (Slight structural damage chimney pots and slates removed). There will also be a lot of heavy rain around 15-20mm during this period.
During Wednesday winds will ease a little but still expect gusts up to 35 mph with spells of heavy rain.
