Well yesterday was my first look at the Christmas period for you, so this is my 2nd outlook and all changed from yesterday. I did say things would change and we must take these outlooks with a large pinch of salt at this time range.

Christmas Eve 24th December.

Daytime top temperature 6 centigrade with heavy rain arriving during the afternoon lasting well into the evening. Temperature overnight, 5 centigrade.

Christmas Day.

Mainly a cloudy day with the odd brighter spell, 6 centigrade. Heavy rain during the evening and night. Overnight low 5 centigrade.

Boxing day 26th.

Breezy with chance of a shower, 7 centigrade.

Well this is a total shift from yesterdays outlook. For around 5 days the models were showing a cold spell, possibly wintry for Christmas. Will see what the next four runs of the models bring and I will write the 3rd update tomorrow evening. I am sure call will change again tomorrow, I would not be surprised if it flips back cold. Like I said it will be around Wednesday before I have confidence to start giving you a forecast for the Christmas period.
