This is the outlook for the next four weeks using the JMA model, this is issued from the Japanese Met Agency. I have added 3 images together, rotated them and add a red line so you can see the UK. Blue colours are low pressure area’s and oranges high pressure areas.

Week 1. 20th September to 27th.

This period will see high pressure ridge over the UK with low pressure trough in the Atlantic. This will become a drier period with temperatures 1-2 degrees above average.

Week 2. 28th September to 4th October.

Low pressure stretches across the Atlantic and over the UK. This period will be unsettled with above average rainfall and temperatures around average.

Week 3. 5th October to 18th.

This is quite a slack period, we will see slightly above average rainfall and temperatures around average.
