This winter we have had a lack of real cold air masses over the UK. Tomorrow we will see a cold front move over the UK bringing a cold air mass. There will be a pronounced difference in the temperature in front of the of the cold front and behind it.
I have added four images for tomorrow from 6am, 9am, 12pm and 3 pm. The images shows the temperature at 850 hpa approximately 1,500 metres. If the temperature falls to -5 c this indicates the is the possibility of any precipitation falling a little wintry. You can see by 3pm the temperature at 1,500 metres will be around -7 c. I also look at the 528 dam line, this also gives an indication that any precipitation could be wintry.

So we will notice a sharp drop in the temperature tomorrow afternoon and there is a possibility we could see a few snow showers but I do think the showers will be well scattered and fairly well isolated at this time.
