This is the outlook for the next four weeks. It is not meant to be a forecast but a general outlook for the period. I have used the ECMWF Weekly mean anomalies. So thanks to the ECMWF for allowing me to use their models. I have added the mean sea level pressure, Precipitation and temperature charts together for each period.
We must take long range weather forecasts with a pinch of salt, but I must say the ECMWF has performed very well with its 4 week outlooks. It picked out our summer very well with cooler, wetter conditions we have experienced this year.
From 28th August to 4th September.
Low pressure is over most of the UK. Rainfall will be near to average and the temperature will be near to normal to slightly below average.

From 4th September to 11th.
Slack air pressures will be over the UK. Rainfall will be close to normal and temperatures will be a couple of degrees above average.

From 11th September to 18th.
Slack air pressure will be over the UK. We can expect just above average rainfall with temperatures 1-2 centigrade above average.

From 18th September to 25th.
Again slack air pressure swill be over the UK. So there will be little change from the week before. This would bring temperatures 1-2 degrees above average with rainfall near to slightly above average.
