Low pressure system called Ciaran by the UK Met Office.
Last week i said there was a possibility of a storm arriving the middle of this week. The Met Office called this low pressure system Storm Ciaran. Since last week when I spoke about this storm it as shifted its position further South. This means the wind speed are now expected not to be so strong.
Overnight early hours tomorrow morning windspeeds will reach around 35mph force 6-7 that’s Strong Breeze to Near Gale. Wednesday daytime force 5-6 Fresh Breeze to Strong Breeze. Overnight into Thursday winds will be gusting up to 38mph Force 7 Near Gale with very heavy rain.
Thursday heavy showers with winds reaching 30 mph force 6.
The highest winds for the UK will be during Thursday along the South Coast where gusts of wind could reach 60-75mph.
I will continue to watch this low pressure system for any deviation but this is what I expect at this time.
